With a 4.63 GPA, Alaafin of Oyo’s daughter emerges as UNILAG’s best graduating Master’s student (photos)

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, had reason to rejoice when his daughter, Adedoja Adeyemi, was named the best graduating Masters Student from the University of Lagos.

The Princess received a distinction (4.63/5.0 GPA) from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies’ department of History and International Studies.According to the school’s official website, the former Miss Oyo State is the best Masters student in the 2019/20 academic year, as well as the best student in her institute, making her the first student to graduate with honors from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies since its founding in 2017.
On Thursday, January 20, the king and other members of his family attended her University’s convocation ceremony, and he celebrated his daughter on his Instagram page.”The daughter of the Alaafin of Oyo graduated from the Masters program in the category of first class from the department of History and foreign studies,” the handler of the Alaafin of Oyo’s official Instagram page stated alongside photographs of the princess.
