Zinoleesky and Mohbad, two prominent Nigerian artists, have been arrested, according to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
DailyTrust quoted him as saying,
“They were arrested because we had credible information that they were in possession of drugs,” says the officer. We surrounded them and recovered the dr#gs. As a result, five of them, three males and two girls, were arrested. We discovered molly and cannabis in their possession when we investigated their home. The investigation is still ongoing, but we need to figure out where these drugs are coming from.”
This comes only weeks after the Agency arrested De General, an Instagram comic, during a raid on his Lagos home.He was accused in court, but the judge granted him a pardon, citing that the amount of narcotics found on him was “too tiny” to warrant a punishment.
