“They kicked him in the shins and matched his waist. Sylvester Oromoni, the father of late Dowen college student Sylvester Oromoni, tells about his son’s liver enlargement caused by congealed blood.
Junior Oromoni, a 12-year-old child who died after being allegedly tortured by his classmates for refusing to join a cult, had his father, Sylvester Oromoni, speak out about the tragedy.
Mr. Sylvester told TheCable Lifestyle that the accused pupils bullied his kid on several occasions.”, he explained.”My son went through a lot. They were also reported to the school last term when they tormented Junior and collected all of his belongings, including food and clothing. I have two daughters, one of whom has already completed her education. After this incident, I had to remove the second. This got to us since they asked this boy to describe the sister’s privates.”Dowen College briefly suspended the lads involved, and Junior was sent to a new hostel, according to him, but the bullying and intimidation persisted into the following semester.”They’ve instilled dread in him to the point where, if you ask him, he’ll keep to himself and say, ‘they’ll kll me.'” I pondered withdrawing him from the school, but decided against it because his sisters were still there.Mr. Sylvester said he learned about the new incident on November 21st, when the school called his wife to tell her that their son had been hurt and was being treated at the school clinic.
He went on to say that his son couldn’t stand since one side of his tummy was enlarged and his waist was bowed. He couldn’t sleep at night since his mouth was black.Junior informed his mother that he didn’t play football and that he didn’t fall, according to the bereaved father. As a result, the school’s assertion that he was hurt while playing football is refuted.
Mr Sylvester went on to say, “They kicked him, matched his waist.” Other students bolted. If they said anything to the school staff, they were all going to be killed. Junior had been instructed not to mention he had been injured while playing baseball. They made threats against him. Everyone in the room would lie if you asked them. They were the same color as his ribs and waist. “All that anguish for a 12-year-old,” he muttered over the phone, his voice falling off into a faint sob.
Junior’s liver enlargement was caused by congealed blood, according to him. Junior was also allegedly fed a chemical-like liquid substance after declining to join the cult.”The boys’ parents are well-off. They took them back. Some parents are considering flying their children out of the country. “There are five lads in total: four in SS2 and one in SS1,” he noted. The state police leadership has yet to respond to this news. Academic activities at the school have been halted for the next two days.
