The victims of the heinous attack on the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, have been buried.For Nigerians, June 5 was a Black Sunday after gunmen stormed the church and opened fire indiscriminately at worshippers, killing dozens of people and injuring many more.Men, women, and children were among those killed in the attack, and their bodies were buried in the state.On Friday, June 17, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his wife, as well as Olusegun Mimiko, a former governor of the state, attended a funeral liturgy in their honor.
