Paul Okoye, better known as Rude Boy, a popular Nigerian artist, has revealed the startling amount he now spends to power his home in Lagos.

His surprising revelation comes in the wake of a recent hike in the price of diesel and allegations that the national grid has crumbled, causing widespread power outages.The singer of the former PSquare music group took to Instagram to highlight the impact of these circumstances on him, revealing that he currently spends N1.4 million naira to fuel his generator with diesel. He did not, however, say how long the diesel would last.
