Mr Jollof claims that your first salary of the year should be given to your parents and not to pastors.

Mr. Jollof, a popular Nigerian comedian, has offered some advice to individuals who send their pastors their first salary of the year as seed money.Christians in Nigeria are accustomed to sowing seed with their first salary at the start of the year, but Mr. Jollof has advised them to refrain from doing so.

He believes that instead of giving their first salary to their pastor as seed money, people should give it to their parents.

He did clarify, though, that if giving out their January income is inconvenient, the person can use it to deal with financial concerns.
