A young Nigerian woman has been lauded as a prophetess for foreseeing a Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed ticket in the 2020 election.This follows the announcement of Datti Ahmed, a politician and economist, as Peter Obi’s running partner for the Labour Party’s presidential nomination today, July 8.According to reports, Chidubem Ukamaka Onyejemuo, a woman, had said on Facebook in July 2020 that the pair would make a strong case for the presidency in the general elections of 2023.
Chidubem stated that she had already predicted the Obi-Ahmed ticket on Facebook after the introduction of the ticket.The comment portion of the post rapidly flooded with calls for her to be a prophet, and the post swiftly acquired popularity on the platform.Nevertheless, others allege that after the official announcement, she altered it.Chidubem responded to the criticism by outlining the reasoning behind partnering the two in 2020.
she wrote; “Nigerians are a very funny set of people…During the PDP primaries of 2019, only one man stood out…. That man was Datti Ahmed….I knew PDP won’t be able to beat Buhari so I just though that in 2023… PDP would pick Obi because power should come South and Datti to represent the North.PDP did not and both men decided to pick each other.”
