In Akure, soldiers reportedly fire gunshots to disperse students protesting against ASUU strike

In Akure, it was reported that students that were protesting against the ASUU strike and were dispersed by soldiers in the Nigerian Army on Tuesday, may 17th.

Students from universities in Ondo State came to Akure expressway to protest against the strike.

Gunshots were fired into the air when soldiers came to the protest scene and dispersed all the students.

Students started running for safety as gunshots were shot to make them clear away from the road.
