Cynthia Olukiowu, a 30-year-old housewife, was arrested for reportedly stabbing her husband’s 18-year-old nephew, Habeeb Aremu, to d£ath following a small argument.
“It was the allegation that caused a fight between the deceased and his uncle’s wife, after which the suspect stabbed the dead in the neck with a kitchen knife.”Following the distress call, CSP Kehinde Kuranga of the Dpo Agbado division instantly led his men to the location, where the suspect was apprehended and the victim, who was lying in a pool of his own blood, was brought to the hospital. “Unfortunately, the doctor on duty verified his d£ath, and his body was deposited to the Ifo general hospital mortuary for autopsy,” Oyeyemi wrote.
CP Lanre Bankole, the state commissioner of police, has ordered that the suspect be promptly transferred to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department’s homicide branch for further investigation and prosecution.
