These non-Nigerian entertainers have taken to speaking Nigerian languages with gusto, and their command of the language has garnered them many followers and celebrities on social media. Some of their followers marvel at how well they talk and wonder how they managed to be so good at it.

A young British actress is quickly establishing herself as one of Nigeria’s most popular movie stars. Claire Edun, dubbed “Oyinbo (white) Princess” by her growing legion of followers in Nigeria and the wider African diaspora, is leveraging her love of African culture and pidgin English to help Nollywood gain a wider audience.
