When Portable was photographed campaigning for the All Progressives Congress, he was only wearing his boxers in front of the statue of Obafemi Awolowo in Osogbo (APC).At the APC mega event in Osogbo for the re-election of Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, the controversial musician performed a rousing dance and, at one point, stripped down to his boxers and bowed as if to sit on Obafemi Awolowo’s statue.
Reaction, a twitter user wrote; “I’m not even Yoruba & I’m deeply offended by that crass display of disrespect and disregard for such a highly regarded Yoruba leader. Just look at this rubbish.”
