Davido reacts to video of Fireboy shedding tears after performing with Ed Sheeran at Wembley stadium

David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has responded to a video showing the musician Fireboy DML weeping with happiness after sharing the stage with British artist Ed Sheeran.Recall that on Wednesday, June 20, British musician Ed Sheeran and Nigerian singer Fireboy performed their hit song, “Peru,” at London’s Wembley Stadium, making Fireboy the first Nigerian artist to do so.

An elated Fireboy who couldn’t hold his excitement soon started crying after the astounding performance.
Sharing the footage of the obviously emotional moment online elicited warm responses from followers.

Davido, a well-known artist and music executive, has responded to the video on social media as well.Davido posted the popular video on his Instagram Stories and said, “God punish who ever say God no dey… This is just beautiful to see.”

This occurs only a few days after Fireboy DML’s historic performance at the 2022 BET Awards in Los Angeles was celebrated online.The YBNL musician became the first Afrobeats artist to accomplish the accomplishment by performing two of his hit songs on the ceremony’s main stage.He is currently being praised on social media for his contribution to Afrobeats music and amazing work bringing Nigerian music to a global audience.
