Davido has said that the $200 million he raised for his birthday from friends, colleagues, and fans would be donated to charity.The DMW chief also stated on his social media account that he would be donating 50 million of his own money to the orphanage houses, bringing the total donation to N250 million.
To oversee the distribution of funds to beneficiaries,I have established a five-person Disbursement Committee. The following poeple are the committee:
1-Mrs. Til Adebayo- chairman of the commilice.
2. Professor Jonathan Nwosu- secretary to the committee!
3. Professor Yahana Joel Asabe of the Northern Nigeria Seventh Day Adventist Union Conference.
4. Pastor (Dr) Oyalabu of Spring Time Development Foundation (SDF).
5. Professor Uloma Onuoha.

The committee will prepare a list of orphans across Nigeria, calculate the number of children at each orphanage and their necessities, and then divide the monies proportionately. The committee will also decide how much of the money will go to the Paroche Foundation. The committee will make the names of the recipient orphanages and the amounts they will receive public in order to maintain transparency.
Wema Bank will be given a list of all beneficiaries and their verified account details, after which they will be told to credit each beneficiary’s account.My goal is to conduct this fundraising every year to commemorate my birthday and to help those who are less fortunate. It is my sincere hope that my friends, fans, industry colleagues, and the general public will continue to support me as I pursue this goal.
