Cardi B has the distinction of being the first female rapper to have two Diamond-certified tracks.

Cardi B, the multi-award-winning American rapper born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has hit yet another important milestone.She becomes the first female rapper in history to have two tracks certified as diamonds by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).The number of albums and single sales are used by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to grant certifications. When a song or album is certified Diamond, it signifies it has sold 10 million copies or more.

Cardi B was the first female rapper to receive a Diamond certification before this.

The award was given to her for her immensely popular hit track “Bodak Yellow.” Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass was the second female rapper’s single to get diamond certified shortly after, but it took ten years to achieve the rare award.

Cardi B, on the other hand, shares the second certification with Maroon 5 for “Girls Like You,” which lasted 7 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

The mother of two replied in response to the excellent news:”Wow, I got two Diamond records!” says the narrator. Thank you so much for inviting me on this song, @maroon5, and this is the song I perform for my kid every time. I’ll be eternally thankful.”
