A man prank-called the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) hotline to report a’very fraudulent’ case.He said that he discovered kpomo inside a shawarma he bought in Ibadan, Oyo state, prompting him to report the scam to the EFCC.
When the anti-graft agency’s personnel told him to go ahead, he pretended to be reporting a serious crime, only to complain about discovering kpomo in his shawarma.
When the officer inquired if he was aware that he had contacted the EFCC hotline, he said yes, explaining that he intended to alert them to the’shawarma fraud.’
