After losing 89 lbs in a year, a 21-year-old woman discusses her incredible weight reduction story, saying, “People are nicer to her now” (Photos)

American woman Allie Tarvin used TikTok to document her remarkable weight reduction change over the course of a year. The 21-year-old woman claimed she had battled her weight her whole life and suffered from low self-esteem as a result of her distaste for the way she appeared.

When she was at her heaviest, she claimed to weigh 217 pounds, and before she made the conscious decision to lose weight, she used to receive derogatory remarks about her appearance. She claimed that while she was overweight, she frequently ate fast food. For breakfast, she would have a large breakfast combo and sweet tea from McDonald’s; for lunch, she would eat tacos or fried chicken with fries; and for supper, she would typically eat out.
She continued by saying that she used to munch on milkshakes, crackers, and any leftover fried food from the day before. She did, however, make the decision to change her diet and up her exercise to six times per week in January 2021.

She started eating grilled chicken or turkey sandwiches for lunch, steak with a salad for dinner, and eggs for morning.

Speaking about how her new appearance has changed her life and interactions with others, Allie claimed that she now feels more confident and that she is treated more kindly.

“I feel so happy and proud of my body now – I feel like a new person.“Every aspect of my body feels healthier, as well as being confident and strong.“As far as my social life, people have become more accepting. I have noticed a difference in the way people treat me – most people are more friendly or inviting.”

Her motivational weight reduction journey video on TikTok has had over 7.8 million views and 1.1 million likes since it was posted.
